Held in London’s premier performing arts centre – the luxurious 839-seat Grand Theatre main stage – Grand House Party combines Canada’s best professional musicians and vocalists for a world class live show experience.
This year’s Party features thirty years of the biggest and the best gems of the ‘60s, ‘70s and ‘80s RE-MASTERED and packed into one ultimate two hour show.
Joining the irreplaceable Jean Meilleur on stage are Party veterans the fantastic Katalin Kiss, Andrea Korziol and the Nylons’ Gavin Hope with the Grand House Party Choir providing backup vocals.
The incomparable Grand House Party Orchestra under the direction of Jeff Christmas features ace guitarist and fret-shredder Dave Dunlop, John Regan on piano, bassist Mitch Tyler and Lighthouse’s Donald Paulton on keyboards. Making the congas sing and the timbales talk is Rob LaRose on Latin percussion and there’s a 4-piece horn section like no other.
Expect an evening that’s high on quality and quantity with a 20-song set list of the music of the Beach Boys, Billy Joel, Michael Jackson, The Temptations, the Commodores… and many more!
Grand House Party is produced by Women’s Community House to raise money for Women’s Community House – Canada’s largest high security shelter for abused women and their children.
