On the heels of the release of the eagerly anticipated CTV film: Corner Gas: The Movie, Canadian comedian, actor and writer Brent Butt brings his stand-up comedy act to The Grand Theatre for one night only on Saturday, January 10^th, 2015.

Although some know him only for his work in television, he is revered among his fellow comedians as one of the funniest men in Canada.  He has received numerous Canadian Comedy Awards including Best Male Standup. Known for a gentle humour with an emphasis on precise language, Butt is able to destroy audiences of all ages and backgrounds. No tirades, no moral outrages—just a bemused take on every day topics with a delivery that is as natural and unforced as breathing.

Brent is widely known for creating, writing, executive producing and directing his own sitcom, Corner Gas.  The TV series was an instant hit with the largest audience on record for a Canadian scripted series. Corner Gas went on to become Canada's #1 comedy, and  has been nominated almost 60 times for numerous awards, including an International Emmy Award and multiple Gemini Awards and Canadian Screenwriting Awards.

CTV recently announced that Corner Gas will return to television on December 17^th, just in time for the holidays.  This not-to-be-missed two hour movie reunites fans with the fine folks of Dog River, Saskatchewan. Click here to view the trailer!
